Maybe they can inspire you too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-clif-bar-company\">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Clif Bar &amp; Company&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clifbar.com\/who-we-are\/our-aspirations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clif Bar &amp; Company<\/a> is raising the bar (pun intended!) to protect clean air, clean energy, and a healthy climate. They are committed to making products from sustainable and organic ingredients and using clean, renewable energy. They\u2019re placing their products in environmentally friendly packaging and delivering them in transportation that doesn\u2019t pollute by joining <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theclimategroup.org\/ev100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EV100<\/a>, a global initiative aimed at accelerating the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and making electric transportation the new normal by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To date, sustainability practices at Clif Bar include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>100% green power electricity at all its facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>82% of all ingredients are organic and\/or certified sustainable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>90% of their waste is diverted from landfills and incinerators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"mbm-spacer mbm-spacer__16 wp-block-mbm-responsive-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Clif Bar also joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation Global Commitment to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clifbar.com\/stories\/packaging-with-purpose\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Packaging with Purpose<\/a> and pledged that all its packaging will be reusable, recyclable, or compostable by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-organic-valley\">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Organic Valley<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.organicvalley.coop\/why-organic-valley\/sustainability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Organic Valley<\/a> is continuously exploring ways to better their products, animal care standards, farmer and employee well-being, and impact on the planet. They\u2019re already the biggest CPG company to source electricity for its owned facilities from 100% renewable energy. They\u2019ve also committed to becoming completely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.organicvalley.coop\/blog\/small-carbon-footprint-big-climate-goals-organic-valley-carbon-neutral-by-2050\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">carbon neutral by 2050<\/a> through c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.organicvalley.coop\/blog\/reducing-farm-emissions-without-carbon-offsets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">arbon insetting<\/a>, the practice of investing in carbon reductions and\/or removals within a company\u2019s own supply chain. Removals are natural strategies including tree plantings and soil health improvements that result in removing greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere through a process called carbon sequestration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-sambazon\">3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sambazon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first company to harvest A\u00e7a\u00ed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sambazon.com\/blogs\/sustainability\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sambazon<\/a> is deeply connected to its Brazilian roots. What\u2019s unique about Sambazon is the company\u2019s involvement in the Amazon rainforest. Their efforts to protect the rainforest\u2019s biodiversity and animal species is something they\u2019re always thinking about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A member of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sambazon.com\/blogs\/sustainability\/1steptozerowaste-challenge-blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">One Step Closer<\/a>, Sambazon also works with other brands to encourage those in the natural products industry to use leading-edge solutions in sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging. Conducting tests of their own on materials that can be composted and\/or recycled, Sambazon has pledged to achieve 100% plant-based and post-consumer recycled packaging by 2025. They\u2019re also already using alternative energy to power their processing factories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-kashi\">4.&nbsp;&nbsp; Kashi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kashi.com\/en_US\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kashi<\/a> is doing so much more than simply making delicious snacks, cereals, and full meals. They\u2019ve got a clear eye on the environment as well. As a member of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onepercentfortheplanet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1% for the Planet,<\/a> Kashi will donate 1% of their annual sales to organizations focused on creating a healthier, more sustainable planet.
